Chedham’s Yard Design Competition
The BBC Restoration Village competition was won by Chedham’s Yard, an old wheelwright’s workshop in Wellesbourne.
We were asked to run two design workshops to come up with ideas for the landscaping of the site. Eleven adults and 19 local school children attended the workshops and produced an array of design and planting ideas.
We were then commissioned to put the best of these into a Final Design which is due to be implemented in 2010.
The design is very naturalistic and wildlife orientated, balanced with good access and plenty of interest for the public.
